Service Usage Requirements:

You agree to provide accurate and truthful information when using the Service. The information you provide must reflect genuine activities in which you have participated. You are responsible for the validity and appropriate use of the certificates generated and content shared through our platform.

You acknowledge that certificates are intended for educational and informational purposes. While we strive to create documents that adhere to commonly accepted formats, the acceptance of these certificates by any institution is at the discretion of that institution.

You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in any way that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair the Service. You acknowledge that misuse of the service, including but not limited to generating certificates with false or inappropriate information (e.g., using names from the forbidden list), generating an excessive number of certificates, or attempting to bypass usage limits, may result in temporary or permanent suspension of access.

3. User Accounts

Access to certain features of the Service requires you to authenticate using one of the following methods:

  • Google Sign-In: Authentication using your Google account credentials
    • Provides permanent certificate storage through Google Drive integration
    • Allows seamless access to saved certificates
    • Uses your Google profile information for certificate personalization
    • May require granting specific permissions for Drive access (drive.file scope)
  • Email/Password Authentication: Traditional authentication using email and password
    • Requires email verification to access certificate generation features
    • Provides 7-day temporary access to generated certificates
    • Option to connect Google Drive separately for permanent certificate storage
    • Subject to our password security requirements

Account Security:

You are responsible for safeguarding your accounts and for any activities or actions under your account related to this Service. You should not share your account credentials with others and should notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

We encourage the use of strong, unique passwords and enabling two-factor authentication where available. You are responsible for keeping your password secure and confidential.

Account Limitations:

Each user account is subject to certain limitations, including:

  • Daily certificate generation limits (as specified in our limit policies)
  • Mobile number verification and association with a single user account
  • Device fingerprinting and IP address detection for security and abuse prevention purposes
  • Usage restrictions based on verification status (email verification required for certain features)
  • Administrative access restrictions for blog and content management
  • Profile picture upload and storage limitations (file size, format restrictions)

Device Fingerprinting and IP Address Detection:

To ensure fair usage and prevent abuse, we employ device fingerprinting technology and IP address detection that creates unique identifiers based on your device's characteristics and network location. This helps us:

  • Enforce usage limits across multiple accounts, sessions, or network locations
  • Detect and prevent fraudulent activities and coordinated abuse attempts
  • Maintain service security and integrity through multi-layered protection
  • Identify suspicious patterns that may indicate misuse or automated attacks
  • Implement sophisticated rate limiting to ensure fair access for all users

By using our Service, you consent to this device identification and IP detection process. Device fingerprints and IP addresses are cached locally in your browser for up to one year and may be used in conjunction with other security measures. We prefer IPv6 addresses when available but also support IPv4 for comprehensive coverage.

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, if you breach these Terms of Service or if we have reason to believe you have misused our Service.

4. Google Drive Integration

Our Service offers the option to save generated certificates directly to your Google Drive. By using this feature:

  • Authorization Permission: You grant us permission to create and store certificates in your Google Drive using the limited drive.file scope, which only allows us to see and manage specific files that our app creates. This permission is obtained when you connect your Google account or explicitly authorize Google Drive access.
  • Access Limitations: We cannot access, modify, or delete any other files in your Google Drive beyond those created by our application. Our access is strictly limited to the files we generate.
  • Automatic Integration: For users who sign in with Google, certificates are automatically saved to your Google Drive without expiration. For email-authenticated users, certificates must be explicitly saved to Drive using the "Save to Google Drive" option.
  • Token Storage: When you authorize Google Drive access, your authorization token is stored in your browser's local storage for persistence between sessions. This token allows us to save certificates to your Drive without requiring re-authorization each time.
  • Access Control: You can revoke this permission at any time through:
  • Ownership: You retain ownership of all files saved to your Google Drive through our Service. The certificates remain your property and will persist in your Drive even if you delete your account with our service.
  • Liability Limitations: We are not responsible for any issues related to Google Drive service availability, storage limits, or policy changes. Google's services are governed by their own terms of service and privacy policies.
  • Security Considerations: The security of your Google Drive content is subject to Google's security practices and policies. While we implement secure methods for transferring files to your Drive, the ultimate security of these files depends on Google's infrastructure and your account security practices.
  • File Organization: Certificates saved to your Drive will be placed in the root folder or a designated folder and named according to the certificate type and generation date.
  • Persistence: Please note that if you delete your account with our service, certificates already saved to your Google Drive will remain there unless you manually delete them.

6. Generated Certificates

The certificates generated by the Service are based on the information you provide. The following terms apply specifically to certificate generation and usage:

Certificate Accuracy and Verification:

  • While we strive for accuracy and adherence to common MAR formats, the ultimate responsibility for verifying the acceptance of these certificates lies with the institution or authority requiring them.
  • Each certificate includes a QR code that links to a validation page hosted by the Service. This QR code serves as a verification mechanism for third parties to confirm certificate authenticity.
  • The verification system relies on our database of certificate records. If you request deletion of your certificate data, the QR verification may no longer function.

Certificate Availability:

  • For Google-authenticated users: Certificates are automatically saved to your Google Drive and remain accessible indefinitely through your Drive, as long as you maintain access to your Google account.
  • For email-authenticated users: Certificates are temporarily available for download for 7 days after generation. After this period, the download link expires, though the underlying certificate record remains in our database for verification purposes.
  • All users may download a local copy of their certificates or save them to Google Drive (with appropriate authorization) for long-term access.

Certificate Usage and Limitations:

  • You may use the certificates for educational, professional, or personal purposes as allowed by the accepting institution.
  • You are responsible for the accuracy of information provided during certificate generation.
  • You are responsible for managing and securing your saved certificates, whether stored locally or on your Google Drive.
  • We do not guarantee acceptance of these certificates by any institution or organization.
  • Certificate generation is subject to daily limits to prevent abuse and ensure service availability.
  • Mobile/WhatsApp numbers used in certificate generation are associated with your account and cannot be used with multiple accounts.

Certificate Content Restrictions:

Certificates cannot contain inappropriate, offensive, or fraudulent content. We reserve the right to reject certificate generation requests or remove certificates that violate these guidelines or that we believe are being used for fraudulent or deceptive purposes.

7. User-Generated Content

Our blog platform allows users to create, share, and interact with content. By submitting content to our blog, you agree to the following:

  • You are the creator and owner of the content or have the necessary rights to share it.
  • Your content does not violate any applicable laws or infringe upon the rights of others.
  • Your content does not contain harmful, offensive, or inappropriate material.
  • You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, modify, publish, and display your content in connection with the Service.
  • We reserve the right to remove or modify content that violates these Terms or is otherwise objectionable at our sole discretion.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.

By continuing to access or use our Service after any revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, you are no longer authorized to use the Service.
