How to Use Get MAR: Your Step-by-Step Guide to Easy Certificates

Welcome aboard! We built Get MAR to be super simple and take the headache out of getting those MAR certificates. This guide will walk you through everything, step by step, so you can create your certificates without any fuss.

Step 1: Head Over to Get MAR

First things first, open up your favorite web browser and go to the Get MAR website: https://mar.toolhub.live. You'll land right on our homepage where you can see the different MAR activities we support.

Step 2: Sign In Using Google

To make a certificate that's linked to you and saved securely, you need to sign in. Look for a button that says "Sign In" or "Sign In With Google" – it's usually hanging out in the top-right corner of the page.

Click that button, and a Google Sign-In window will pop up. Just choose the Google account you want to use (your student account might be a good idea if you have one) and allow the basic permissions (we only need your name and email to make things work!).

Super Important Tip: The name on your certificate will be pulled directly from your Google Account name. Make sure it's your actual First Name and Last Name! Avoid nicknames or just one name. If it's not right, please update your name in your Google settings before you start making certificates.

Step 3: Pick Your MAR Activity

Once you're logged in, take a look at the different MAR activities shown on the homepage (like Blood Donation, Tree Planting, Debate, etc.). Find the one you need a certificate for and just click on its card.

Step 4: Fill Out the Quick Form

Clicking the card takes you to a form specifically for that activity. Now, just fill in the details carefully. You'll usually see fields like:

  • Place/Location/District: Where did the activity happen? Pick from the list or type it in if you select 'Other'.
  • Date on Certificate: When did you do the activity? Use the calendar tool (it likes the YYYY-MM-DD format). Make sure the date isn't in the future and isn't more than a year ago.
  • WhatsApp Number: Pop in your 10-digit mobile number here. Double-check it's correct!
  • Activity Specifics: Depending on the activity, you might need to choose your Blood Group, say how many trees you planted, or enter the Debate Topic.

Keep an eye out for any little notes below the fields – they can offer helpful hints. Fields with a little star (*) are usually required.

Heads-up on the WhatsApp Number: If you've used Get MAR before, your number might already be filled in and you won't be able to change it. This is just a security step to link your number to your account. Stick to the number you used when you first signed up.

Step 5: Quick Check Before You Generate!

Almost there! Before you hit that generate button, take 10 seconds to quickly read through everything you entered. Are the location and date right? Any typos? It's much easier to fix things now than later!

You'll also see your name displayed (pulled from Google). Make sure it looks correct! If not, pause here and go update your Google profile name (see Step 2 again).

You might see a counter showing how many certificates you can still generate today.

All good? Awesome! Click the "Generate Certificate" button.

Step 6: Let the Magic Happen (Processing)

Okay, now our system takes over. It's checking your details, saving the request, creating your personalized PDF certificate (with the QR code!), and getting everything ready.

You'll see a loading animation and messages like "Processing..." or "Generating...". This usually takes anywhere from 15 seconds to a minute, sometimes a bit longer if lots of people are using the site. Please be patient and try not to close the page or hit refresh while it's working!

Step 7: Success! Download Your Certificate

Ta-da! If everything went smoothly, you'll see a success message.

  • Look for the big "Download Certificate" or "Download PDF" button. Click it! This will save your shiny new certificate (as a PDF file) onto your computer or phone.
  • You might also see buttons to check out your past certificates ("View Certificates") or go back to the homepage ("Back to Home").

Our Recommendation: Download your certificate right away and save it somewhere safe – maybe a folder on your computer, your Google Drive, or even email it to yourself.

Step 8: Finding Old Certificates (Just in Case)

Did you make a certificate yesterday and need to download it again? No problem! Just click on the "My Certificates" link (you can usually find it on the homepage or in the user menu when you're logged in) or go here: https://mar.toolhub.live/my-certificates. This page shows a list of all the certificates you've generated with your account, letting you download successful ones again.

Quick Troubleshooting Help

  • Can't Log In? Make sure you're using the right Google account. Sometimes clearing your browser's cache helps too.
  • Form Errors? Read the error message closely – it usually tells you what's wrong (like an invalid phone number or a future date).
  • "Limit Reached" Message? You'll need to wait about 24 hours for it to reset. Plan ahead next time!
  • Generation Failed Error? Note down the error message if you can. Maybe try again in a little while. If it keeps happening, check our Blog for any site status updates or Contact Us for help.
  • Download Link Broken? Check your internet connection first. Try a different browser. You can also try downloading it again from the "My Certificates" page.

You Did It!

And that's all there is to it! Following these steps should make getting your MAR certificates with Get MAR super easy. Just remember that quick double-check before submitting, and always save your certificates somewhere safe. Happy generating!
